(Without Confession, one risks to be like a thawed and unattended fish)

If you take a fish out of the freezer and leave it out for only 3 days in your house, how much will it stink? Now imagine leaving it out for a whole year! The concept is the same for a man or woman who, taken out of the freezer of ignorance that he or she is dirty with sin, does not want to be washed with the Sacrament of Holy Confession, cooked by the warmth of Holy Communion, and ‘ingested’ by the Mystical Body of Christ. How bad of a smell they would give off if forever left to themselves as opposed to the scent of a good cooked fish (cf 2Cor 2:14-15)! Think about it now while we are in time – while we are alive! (Fr. VV; cf. 2 Mac 9:9-10; John 20:22-23; 2 Cor 2:16)
